Disappointed with our interaction with McGrath. We had a vehicle brought to this location from a different McGrath location. Very pleased with this service—saved us from driving 2 hours to look at vehicle. We took vehicle for a test drive, looked it over and made the decision to purchase. Our sales person was newer and friendly.

The sales person we had, did amazing! Travis was on top of getting us the perfect vehicle and making sure everything worked out in our favor and checking in to see how our new vehicle was working. Taking the time out his day to make sure if we had any questions or concerns to be able to assist the best he could.
Seth Owen from the Dubuque location was amazing! 10/10 would recommend. Very patient and accommodating. I was impressed with his knowledge of the vehicles I looked at!

This is directly for the financing side of my experience. I purchased my car over a month ago and still have not received the payment for my trade-in. I fortunately have a local lender who is working with me and is not penalizing me for the outstanding loan balance greater than $3,000. My salesman was incredible to work with I would highly recommend him. However, this is the third time buying a car from this location and their finance department has failed me every time.

Prices are no where near market value. They use topical tactics of "Kelly blue book doesn't buy cars" and focusing on payment. The service team is really nice but the quality of repairs is garbage. If you buy a car from them, they'll also try to buy it from you (for terrible value) less than a year later.

Even though I walked into the wrong building when I went over to check out their used offerings, Every one was very helpful and friendly and got me sorted out and the experience of buying a car from them was a massive improvement from the last vehicle I bought.

Javari was so helpful going over all the features in my new Tucson, I am not tech savvy so he explained everything great! I had just a month ago purchased a new Tucson which was a total loss due to hail damage so they had everything ready when I got there to get the new one .
My sales rep, Lisa Appel, made my buying experience very enjoyable. I test drove 3 vehicles before finding the one that worked for me. She had to have 2 of them brought from the Marion store and they were here ready to look at when she said they would. Very welcoming experience.

I've bought several cars in my lifetime, and I can honestly say that I've never had such a pleasant buying experience as I did at McGrath Volkswagen. I found the dealership online, and although it is quite a distance from my home, I definitely feel it was worth the trip. and I've had several questions and concerns since I bought my new beetle, and Jamie and josh have been very helpful, and encourage me to ask for help if I need it. I would highly recommend this dealership.

I bought a used car from McGrath in October. Within a few days I found out that I had a head gasket leak. Normally, it would cost almost 2,000 bucks out of my pocket to fix the leak. Instead, McGRATH picked up the tab and fixed my car because they wanted to make sure that I was a happy camper. Eric and DJ were great salesmen. While comparison shopping several cars from ALL the different local dealers, McGrath Volkswagen of Dubuque was the only one to offer a reasonable OTD price from the very beginning. In a different market (large city) I would have been comfortable negotiating substantially lower price, but I still got a FAIR price OTD, with no buyers remorse!
There were no big hassles through the buying process. Was not pressured but was given explanations of the car's good points. Again, when offered the extended warranty it was explained to me there was minimal pressure to buy.

I drove a rental car from Enterprise to pick up the van, arriving mid afternoon.
